SINCERITY
SINCERITY Scrip Ref: Phil 1:10; 2 Cor 8:8, Ephesians 6:24, Titus 2:7, Prov 26:24-25
Sincerity: the quality or state of being sincere; honesty, genuineness, good faith, etc.
I BELIEVE THAT ONE MAJOR THING THAT GOD ASK OF US THAT IS NOT REALLY HIGHLIGHTED IN THE BIBLE IS OUR SINCERITY; NOT ONLY WITH HIM BUT OURSELVES AND OTHERS. I'VE PRAYED ASKING THE LORD THAT IF I'VE PRAYED FOR SOMEONE OR SOMETHING WITHOUT A SINCERE HEART AND WORDS, TO PLEASE REMOVE THAT FROM ME AND FORGIVE ME.
THE LORDS LOVE IS SINCERE, THEREFORE WHEN WE'RE PRAYING FOR SOMEONE WE SHOULD DESIRE THAT OUR PRAYERS BE SINCERE, NOT WANTING ANYTHING FOR OURSELVES IN RETURN. GOD HAS LAID IT UPON MY HEART TO PRAY FOR PEOPLE, TO BE A PRAYER WARRIOR, INTERCESSOR FOR PEOPLE, BUT I ALSO HAVE TO WATCH MYSELF TO MAKE SURE THAT THE SINCERITY REMAINS AT THE FOREFRONT. WE HAVE TO WATCH WHAT WE SAY AND THINK ABOUT SOMEONE OR A SITUATION WHEN NOT IN PRAYER TIME. IN THE BOOK OF PROVERBS, SOLOMON SPEAKS OF WATCHING OUT FOR PEOPLE WHO IN ONE INSTANCE HAVE SOMETHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT SOMEONE, BUT THE NEXT MOMENT THEY'RE SPEAKING GOOD OF SOMEONE; WELL WE CAN SWITCH THAT AROUND AND SAY BE CAREFUL IN PRAYER WHEN PRAYING THAT SOMETHING WORKS OUT FOR SOMEONE BUT WHEN NOT IN PRAYER, WE'RE SPEAKING AGAINST THEM. I BELIEVE THAT TAKES THE SINCERITY AWAY FROM OUR PRAYERS, AND THE OPPOSITE OF SINCERITY IS DECEIT.
SINCERITY IS NOT ONLY IMPORTANT IN OUR PRAYERS FOR OTHERS, BUT ALSO PRAYERS FOR OURSELVES. WHY ARE WE REALLY ASKING GOD FOR THAT PARTICULAR SOMETHING? ARE WE BEING GENUINE, OR DO WE HAVE A HIDDEN AGENDA? I THINK THAT ALONG WITH SINCERITY COMES HUMILITY.
WE MUST STRIVE TO BE SINCERE AND HUMBLE IN ALL OF OUR WAYS.
1 CORINTHIANS 10:33.....NOT SEEKING MINE OWN PROFIT, BUT THE PROFIT OF MANY, THAT THEY MAY BE SAVED.

Hi,
you probalbly have heard or read of A Course In Miracles. It offers a mind-training to actually forgive, transform, and leave this condition of sickness, pain and death through the conversion of your self-contructed self identity. It also says that you have only one relationship and that is with God.
In other words a real solution that is not of this world and that takes some guts to embark on.
